Q. What should I not put in my garbage disposal?
A. Potato or banana peels, celery, carrots and anything stringy

Q. Why do I hear my toilet running?
A. Water may be leaking past the flapper which lowers the water level in the tank and triggers the fill valve to automatically refill the tank.

Q. Why does my toilet swirl & not flush out all the way?
A. Calcium and mineral deposits can block the flow of water.

Q. Why does my water heater make a rumbling noise?
A. There is a calcium and/or mineral deposit build up in the tank.

Q. How often does my water heater need to be flushed?
A. Manufacturers recommendations vary from every one to 6 months.
We suggest every 6 months.

Q. Can I flush my water heater myself?
A. Yes, our plumbers can show you how to perform this easy task.
We suggest having a full port ball valve installed on your water heater which, has a “full opening” to help drainage & flush out the sediment!

Q. Why do I hear a banging/rattling noise in my pipes?
A. This could be due to a loose washer in a valve, which vibrates causing water hammer.

Q. Why do I get roots in my sewer line?
A. Older lines were made from clay pipe or thin wall plastic piping. These lines crack with age and roots will always seek a water source. There are immediate treatments and long term solutions available, call us for details.
